We were asked to create a brand identity for Fly Space, a cinema, community events, and cultural space in Cooperstown, NY. Fly Space will be a flexible, multi-use space with a cinema and concert space, coffee shop, offices, and a book store.
While the building itself is interesting, its architecture alone won’t be able to sustain a sense of excitement. The brand will need to communicate the cultural potential and the excitement of what it means to visit Fly Space.
A fly system is the backstage mechanical pulley system that moves scenery, curtains, lighting, etc. into place: A perfect metaphor for a adaptable multi-use space.
